03 — Marine Sources

Marine Vibrator — repeatable broadband marine seismic source.

Autonomous, low-cost marine vibrator for offshore acquisition, CCS plume monitoring, and defense applications — vessel-towed or permanent seafloor deployment.

The GPUSA Marine Vibrator delivers repeatable, linear output with phase-controlled sweeps for offshore seismic acquisition. Uniform torque from 0–100 Hz with output below 1 Hz enables ultra-low-frequency marine surveys that conventional air-gun arrays cannot achieve.

Designed for deployment from vessels of opportunity or as a permanent seafloor installation for CCS monitoring, the Marine Vibrator brings the same autonomous, low-cost philosophy as GPUSA’s land systems to the marine environment — repeatable time-lapse capability without a dedicated seismic vessel.

  • Repeatable and linear output
  • Phase-controlled sweeps for coherent noise rejection
  • Uniform torque 0–100 Hz
  • Output below 1 Hz — ultra-low frequency capability
  • Vessel-towed or permanent seafloor deployment
  • Suitable for CCS, reservoir monitoring, and defense applications
